It’s the tenth anniversary of the Yorkton Business Improvement District’s Clean Sweep summer program.
The program started in 2011 when YBID recognized the need to keep the district clean and safe of the businesses and community.
Clean Sweep kicks off today (Tue) and will run into the fall, weather permitting.
10-thousand dollars is put into the program each year, and workers will be cleaning up garbage and recycling from the Painted Hand Casino to Highway 9.
